Cute and cuddly, Taking Tom Cat 2 features an adorable cat you can play with. Brought to you by Outfit7, the same company that created other talking characters for your mobiles, the cat is available for Android and iOS devices, with free and paid features.
Compared to the first game, this second app brings back Tom the cat with a different look, and places him in an apartment, unlike the back alley background in the first one. Some common features you will find in all the versions allow you to interact directly with the cat. Most obviously, hence the name of the app, the cat will talk – actually, it only repeats everything you say. You can also pet him to make him purr, poke him, slap him left and right or pull his tail.
Talking Tom Cat 2 – Outfit
A common character found on every device is Ben the dog. Ben has his own app, but with a few screen touches he comes to visit and torture his neighbor, the cat. The dog can do many funny things to him, most notably he can slap him in the face with a pillow, scare him with a bag, or just fart. After the last one Tom will hold his nose, and everything he repeats afterward, he will do it in a funny voice.
The free iOS versions, both for iPhone or optimized for iPad, feature an accessories shop which you can visit to buy outfits for Tom. They can be sold back at half the price. Moreover, the iOS versions and the paid one for Android have a button to make Tom play the first version on an in-game phone – click that button and watch him repeat himself in an amusing loop.
