Clearing cookies, history and cache from your Safari browser is nothing complicated. This comes with both advantages and disadvantages. Cookies are data stored by websites on your device. These will keep you logged in for some time and thus you won’t have to use/ enter your username and password everytime you visit those specific sites.

What you see on the Safari browser is stored in history. And besides history and cookies there are also the cache files. The cache is a webpage stored. This means that next time you visit that page, your iPhone/iPad will render the cached website instead of using up data if there’s no update of the page.

All these will store up memory and if there’s a great amount of cookies, history and cache, the performance of your device will be affected. Therefore, if you want to clear  history  from the Safari browser on your iPad/iPhone, then here are the steps you will have to follow:

1. The first thing to do is to open the Settings tab and then tap Safari.

2. Now scroll down a bit and find the Clear History tab.

3.  Just tap the Clear History tab and your history will be deleted.

To clear Cache from Safari browser, you’ll just have to tap the Clear Cache tab that is under the Clear Cookies and Data tab.
